A: Sara Hopman, an independent filmmaker from Chicago. She is awesome and she is our friend. Here is more information about her and a link to her vimeo page:
‘Filmmaker Sara Hopman believes that grassroots movements are the key to positive global progression. After working with various non-profit organizations such as Environment California, the Human Rights Campaign and The Global Summit, she has been further inspired to use her strengths in filmmaking to help facilitate progress in our communities.
Sara’s works range from documentaries, to music videos, to experimental narratives. She seeks to capture the stories of the human condition and aims to maneuver them to inspire people around the world.
In 2010 her short documentary, Day Job, won the Economic Justice Award at the Media that Matters Film Festival in NYC. The film received worldwide distribution, worldwide multi-platform broadcast and public, theater & festival screenings. Many of her other films have premiered at festivals around the world including the Dawnbreakers International Film Festival in Switzerland and the San Diego Film Festival in California.‘
